FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Quick answers to common questions about VibeSharing.
Getting started
What is VibeSharing?
VibeSharing is a central hub for prototypes built with AI tools. One place to deploy, organize, and collect feedback on prototypes — regardless of which AI tool you used to build them.
Do I make prototypes in VibeSharing?
No. You build prototypes in whatever AI tool you prefer — Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, v0, Replit, Bolt, Windsurf, or anything else. VibeSharing is where those prototypes live after you build them. The home, not the workshop.
How technical do I have to be?
Not very. If you're using AI tools to build prototypes, you already have the skills. For code-based tools like Cursor or Claude Code, you run one command to deploy. For hosted tools like Lovable or v0, you paste a URL.
What's the ideal setup?
Build prototypes in your preferred AI tool. Keep a CLAUDE.md file in your project so context syncs automatically. Deploy to VibeSharing when you're ready to share. Set up feedback topics so your team knows what to comment on.
Do I need to connect my GitHub account?
Yes, if you plan to use Push to Deploy. Go to Account Settings and click Connect GitHub. This links your GitHub username so you automatically get push access to prototype repos created via VibeSharing. Without it, you'll get a 403 permission error when trying to push. If you only use URL-based prototypes (Lovable, v0 links, etc.), GitHub isn't required.
Pricing & business
How much does it cost?
VibeSharing is currently free while we're building it out with early teams, consultancies, and friends of the family. We'll introduce pricing later, and early users will get favorable terms. Not funded by VC money chasing growth — building something sustainable.
Is VibeSharing a company?
Not yet. It's a product built by a design leader who needed this for his own work. If it proves useful to others, it may become a company. For now, it's a tool we're sharing because we think others face the same problems.
Who is behind VibeSharing?
Built by Chris Avore, a product design leader who got tired of losing prototype context, painful feedback loops between designers and stakeholders, and hunting for URLs in Slack.
Data & privacy
Who owns the data?
You do. Your prototypes, your context, your feedback — all yours. We store it to make the product work, not to claim rights to it.
Are you training AI on my prototypes?
No. VibeSharing has no models. We don't use your prototypes, context, or feedback to train anything — and we don't share your data with third parties who do.
Do you have compliance policies?
Yes. Compliance policies cover access control, data handling, and incident response. See /compliance for the full details, or /security for the technical architecture.
Enterprise & corporate
What if my corporate network blocks uploads?
Some corporate security tools block ZIP uploads to external services. If that happens: deploy via GitHub instead, use the external URL feature to link prototypes hosted elsewhere, or ask IT to allowlist vibesharing.app.
Can I use internal corporate hosting with VibeSharing?
Yes. If your company hosts prototypes internally (your own Vercel, internal servers, etc.), you can still add them to VibeSharing using the external URL feature. The prototype stays on your infrastructure — VibeSharing provides organization, feedback, and context on top.
